*This post has been updated with even MORE awesome recipes!
Hey, foodies!! Everybody ready for the big game? I have to admit, I’m not exactly all that big into sports. In fact, those of you who know me well are probably still trying to see properly again after your epic eye-roll. However!
There is one day of the year where I make an exception: Super Bowl Sunday. Well, to be clear, I still don’t really care about the game, per se, but I LOVE a good party (also known as: any excuse to make and eat appetizers in place of dinner), even if it’s just me and the hubs (which, these days it usually is).
It’s pretty great, we make lots of fun food and play board games (not unlike our New Year’s Eve bash for two – living that parent life) and basically look up at the Super Bowl (or in my case, the commercials) every now and again in between.
I get almost as much joy from planning it as I do from eating the apps (don’t give me that look, I said almost!), but as I’m sure most of you can attest, those game day yums are generally not all that good for you. But, good news!
No more do you need to sacrifice ANY of your hard work for one, albeit awesome, evening of food and friends. From snacky bites and filling appetizers to crowd-pleasing mains and slow-cooker favorites, I’ve got an awesome list of 21 Day Fix approved recipes that will prove that you can have a delicious and guilt-free Super Bowl party (or any kind of party, really)!
Going to someone else’s party? Bring one of these awesome dishes with you and check out my thoughts and tips on holidays/parties in my Thanksgiving post 🙂
Have fun!!

21 DAY FIX RESOURCES:
Ok, so my husband is the biggest football and UFC fan and he always wants something nice to eat while watching his games. I was reading this article and he was around, looking at the images. Guess what he told me? “I want all of these”. Lucky guy, he has me to make them…
Aww, he IS a lucky guy! I hope you guys love whatever you decide to try!!
You had me drooling by the end of the post, Stephanie! Happy Super Bowl Day 🙂
I’m also not really following the game, I’m there for the food and for the company! There are always plenty of others who are not watching 🙂 Great collection of recipes, I’ll take the Makeover Spinach and Artichoke dip!
Chatting (and eating) is more fun anyway 🙂 Spinach and Artichoke Dip has always been my fave!
I am right with you. I could take or leave the actual game, I’m there for the food 🙂 These eats are making my mouth water, I can’t even tell that they are all healthy!
Thanks, Meghan! Speaking of Super Bowl party eats, when I was planning what we were going to make for ours, I was thinking of you because aside from the buffalo chicken meatballs and spinach and artichoke dip from this post, bacon-wrapped stuffed dates are also on the menu! Can’t wait!
Yassss, bacon wrapped dates all the way!
All of these game day eats look amazing! And I LOVE that they are all on the healthier side! Totally means I can have a bunch of everything, right? 😉 Winning! Cheers, friend!
P.S I do love watching the game, but of course I love the food more! No shame there!
Thanks, Cheyanne! And absolutely, eat all the goodies!! 🙂
