Hey guys! So I promise that I'm going to come back to this post later and add in any and all questions and answers you might have, but the clock's a' tickin' and I'm hustling to get 8 brand spankin' new dips (plus my magic dip base!) on the blog for you before the Super Bowl on Sunday (which, as I'm writing this is exactly 5 days away!)!
But for now, let me just tell you how much I love this dip - it just tastes like home to me. My mom loves pimento cheese dip and we had it a ton growing up, so this one was like a warm hug for me. Love you, mom!
We always just had pimento dip with crackers, but I know a ton of you love it as a sandwich, so pick up some whole grain bread and go for it!
A huge bonus to this recipe is that it's made using my Magic Healthy Dip Base, so you can whip up a batch and switch it up all week long with one or more of the other 8 (EIGHT!!) incredible healthy dips on this site that use it (or just throw in whatever good stuff you have on hand and create something new)!

Healthier Pimento Cheese Dip | 21 Day Fix Pimento Cheese
This healthier version of pimento cheese is quick, easy and delicious!
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup Healthy Dip Base (click here or see the card below in this post)
- ⅓ cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 ½ Tbs chopped pimento, drained, divided
- ¼ teaspoon Frank's Red Hot Sauce
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 1/16 teaspoon salt
- black pepper, to taste (I usually just do 3 or 4 cracks of the peppermill)
Instructions
- Add the dip base, 1 Tbs of the pimentos, 2 ½ Tbs cheese, the hot sauce, paprika and salt into a small food processor and process until well blended.
- Put the contents into your bowl, stir in the remaining cheese and pimentos. Cover and refrigerate until ready to eat if you aren't eating it right then. Enjoy!

Party Size Healthier Pimento Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 3 ¾ cup Healthy Dip Base (click here or see the card below in this post for dip base recipe)
- 3 ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 2 (4 oz) jars chopped pimentos, drained, divided
- 2 ½ teaspoon Frank's Red Hot Sauce
- 1 Tbs paprika
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add the dip base, 1 Tbs of the pimentos, 2 ½ Tbs cheese, the hot sauce, paprika and salt into a large food processor (or you can use a smaller one and do this in batches) and process until well blended.
- Put the contents into your serving dish, stir in the remaining cheese and pimentos. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Magic Healthy Dip Base
This magic healthy dip base is delicious as the base to almost any dip! It's also freezer-friendly, so you can have an amazing dip ready to go whenever you need it!
Ingredients
- 3 cups (24 oz) 2% cottage cheese
- ¾ cup plain 2% Greek yogurt
- 3 Tbs + 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth!
- Stir in the add-ins to the portion you're making. If it's a hot dip, microwave until just hot and melty.
Notes
*This dip base freezes beautifully! Use an egg cup mold for perfect portions!

This is delicious! I love pimento cheese but I know it’s not typically prepared in a healthy way. I also can’t seem to find any prepared pimento cheese at the grocery store where I live, besides one brand that tastes very artificial.
