Hey guys! So I promise that I'm going to come back to this post later and add in any and all questions and answers you might have, but the clock's a' tickin' and I'm hustling to get 8 brand spankin' new dips (plus my magic dip base!) on the blog for you before the Super Bowl on Sunday (which, as I'm writing this is exactly 5 days away!)!
But for now, I'll just say that if you love a good Reuben sammie, you're going to love this dip! Btw, I highly recommend serving it with some toasted whole-grain rye bread if you can get your hands on it! It really makes this taste like a Reuben!
What to serve with 21 Day Fix Reuben Dip:
Pepperidge Farm makes a Whole Grain Seeded Rye Bread - or you can check Angelic Bakehouse's website to see if a store near you carries their seeded Whole Grain Rye Bread (a ton of markets near me had it in the freezer aisle - when you're searching your location, click "select specific products", then click "Sprouted 7 Grains Rye Bread" and "Sprouted 7 Grains Rye Bread (Frozen)".
Oh! And this dip just heats up in the microwave - it just doesn't get any easier, friends!!
Another huge bonus to this recipe is that it's made using my Magic Healthy Dip Base, so you can whip up a batch and switch it up all week long with one or more of the other 8 (EIGHT!!) incredible healthy dips on this site that use it (or just throw in whatever good stuff you have on hand and create something new)!

Healthy Reuben Dip
This healthy Reuben Dip is packed with protein and delicious Reuben flavor! Perfect for game day!
Ingredients
- 3 Tbs Healthy Dip Base (click here or see the recipe card below for recipe)
- 2 ½ teaspoon ketchup (either from this recipe or storebought ketchup with all-natural ingredients and without corn syrup)
- 2 ½ teaspoon white onion, finely chopped
- ½ Tbs mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon sweet pickles, chopped
- ½ teaspoon white distilled vinegar
- pinch salt
- black pepper to taste
- 3 Tbs chopped nitrate-free deli turkey (about 1 slice depending on size)
- 3 Tbs shredded swiss cheese
- 2 Tbs sauerkraut, drained and packed
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, stir together all ingredients except turkey, cheese, and sauerkraut until well combined. Then stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Microwave until just hot and melty (20-40 seconds depending on your microwave), be sure not to overheat!
- Serve with whole grain crackers or better yet, toasted rye bread cut into bite-sized pieces – Pepperidge Farm makes a Whole Grain Seeded Rye Bread – or you can check Angelic Bakehouse’s website to see if a store near you carries their seeded Whole Grain Rye Bread (a ton of markets near me had it in the freezer aisle – when you’re searching your location, click “select specific products”, then click “Sprouted 7 Grains Rye Bread” and “Sprouted 7 Grains Rye Bread (Frozen)”).

Magic Healthy Dip Base
This magic healthy dip base is delicious as the base to almost any dip! It's also freezer-friendly, so you can have an amazing dip ready to go whenever you need it!
Ingredients
- 3 cups (24 oz) 2% cottage cheese
- ¾ cup plain 2% Greek yogurt
- 3 Tbs + 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth!
- Stir in the add-ins to the portion you're making. If it's a hot dip, microwave until just hot and melty.
Notes
*This dip base freezes beautifully! Use an egg cup mold for perfect portions!
