This healthy 21 Day Fix Easy Homemade Ketchup is super quick to throw together because it uses all good-for-you pantry ingredients (no corn syrup here!). Perfect for dipping some baked french fries or for topping your favorite burger!
Hey peeps! So this is my first new post in... let's just say awhile. Summer is tough, you guys. But I'm back and I'm better than ever! Or whatever. Anyway, I'm bringing you guys something that a LOT of you have been asking me for - a super simple, healthy 21 Day Fix easy homemade ketchup.
And suuure.... I may have promised to bring this to you guys many moons (so many moons) ago... but look at me now!
Delivering.
I mean, it was bound to happen eventually.
Is store-bought ketchup 21 Day Fix approved?
On the 21 Day Fix, we're not technically "allowed" most store-bought ketchups. You won't find them on the food list, and with good reason. They usually have a gang of sugar in there, most often in the form of high fructose corn syrup, and who the hell wants that? They usually have plenty of salt added, too.
But have no fear!
So I tested this bad boy a few different ways before I settled on this one, which I think is as close to legit ketchup as you're going to get without chopping or cooking anything. And you guys, I just don't want to chop and cook stuff for ketchup if I don't have to. Ya with me?
How do you make ketchup from pantry ingredients?
It REALLY doesn't get any easier than this, folks. And look! I made you a fun instructional photo collage, because I loves ya.
So take about 3 minutes (maybe?) and make this 21 Day Fix easy homemade ketchup, know exactly what's in it (and more importantly, what isn't!) and put it on your eggs, on some turnip fries, or on your favorite burger and enjoy!
If you make this recipe be sure to snap a pic and tag me @thefoodieandthefix on Instagram so I can check it out! It makes me ridiculously happy to see what you guys are making 🙂
