Hi Stephanie, thanks so much for your amazing blog and astonishing recipes!
I am just starting out with 21 day fix. I am Italian (I live near Rome) and I eat pretty well (mostly a plant-based diet) but I struggle to be on board with carbs and sweets in-take. So I hope the containers will help me with portion-control. I was just wondering how to adapt my own clean recipes in order to know how many containers I am using during the day. I see you are an expert about this and I wonder if you could give me some tips. Thanks!
Hi, Ludo! So sorry it took me so long to get back to you, this summer has been nuts for us! Anyway, I’m so thrilled to hear you’re loving the blog, it completely made my day! The containers have definitely helped me with portion control (I have a sweet tooth, too!) – I explain in detail how I figure out container counts for my recipes in this post, I hope it helps!
Where did the beef stroganoff recipe go? Do you still have it?
Yes! Here’s the link! 21 Day Fix Instant Pot Beef Stroganoff
I am new to this and having a hard time understanding how to measure things out for myself when cooking for a family of four. My goal is to control and start eating the right portion sizes
Hey Scott, all of the recipes on my website have container counts AND serving sizes, so if the serving size says 1 cup, measure out 1 cup and count off whatever containers I have listed for it. For other people’s recipes, often it’s as simple as dividing the recipe into 4 equal portions when you’re done cooking, but every single recipe on this site tells you exactly how much to eat and what containers to check off! I hope it’s helpful to you and if you need any more help, feel free to contact me!
I made the salmon tacos tonight – YUM! My husband raved about the spice mixture on the fish (I ended up using ahi tuna because it was on sale and cheaper than salmon!), and it was delicious. I’ll definitely make it again.
Hey Breeanne! I’m so glad you guys liked them! I’ll have to try them with ahi next time, that sounds great! That spice mixture is my fave – I make a bunch of it at a time and keep it in a jar on my counter because I use it almost every single day 🙂
Hello. Im new to 21 day fix. I used to be on Weight Watchers and while i love their recipes, i like more counting containers instead; it is much easier.
Is there an easy way to convert my WW recipes to container counts?
Thank you for your help.
Hi May! I agree, the containers are so much easier! Converting WW recipes into container counts is going to be the same as converting any other recipe unfortunately. However, if you’re having trouble with it, you can email me using the contact form on my menu bar with a specific recipe or questions and I’m happy to help you any way I can 🙂
